Project/Site Description: A nine acre portion of the site was challenged by the presence of an unclosed abandoned landfill when originally acquired by the owner (Westmass Area Development Corporation). The site has been successfully remediated and is ready for development. The landfill has been capped in accordance with Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Solid Waste regulations and is suitable for future use as a park area designed to support the building development planned for the site.

Parcel #7 is capable of accommodating a variety of uses such as office space, research and development, and life science uses requiring up to 195,000 square feet of new building space.  The parcel size is 40.8 acres with approximately 1,362 linear feet of frontage on Robbins Circle, and 25 acres of developable area.

Chicopee River Business Park: The entire Chicopee River Business Park is fully served by adequately sized utilities. These include public water, sewer, stormwater, power, natural gas, access to communications and broadband.  The site has adequate road frontage on a newly constructed roadway (built in 2000) complete with appropriate street lighting.
